about Chelz

Chelz the Creative is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist creatng magic in the heart of Atlanta. Her specialties are graphic design, illustration, fiber art, and mixed media.

As an NYC native and current ATLien, Chelz has always lived in the heart of art and culture. Though she started learning how to create at a young age, it wasn’t until her time studying communications and public relations at THE Alabama State University, that she decided she wanted to make a career out of creating art.

Chelz's art has always been centered around the vibrancy of Blackness and urban aesthetics in pop culture. Her personal interest in music and entertainment has given her a special perspective on its connection to visual art.

Chelz frequently works behind the scenes with several event and nightlife companies around Atlanta (ex. New Wave ATL, Events Paradise, Let's Have Some Fun) as a brand designer or creative director. Her quality work quickly caught the attention of larger brands like Rap Caviar by Spotify, South By Southwest (SXSW), WavCloud, and more.
